About Your New Role
Join us as we expand our Community Hub support team in the Maroochydore area, supporting customers to live as independently as possible.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You’ll work closely with customers, families and stakeholders to implement strategies that help individuals overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
We’re looking for empathetic, positive individuals with a genuine passion for helping others. These are casual opportunities offering a variety of shifts times and durations.
About You
- Experience with Disability Support Work, Positive Behaviour Support Plans and manual handling highly desirable but not required.
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
- Flexibility to work frequent shifts varying in duration (from 2.5 hours to 9 hours)
Requirements
- A current driver's license (P2 minimum)
- Paid Blue Card & Paid NDIS Worker Screening prior to start date
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Willingness to drive a van
- Basic administrative tasks
