We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Relieving Direct/Customer Service Manager to join Resthaven in a full-time permanent role. About the Role:

The Relieving Direct Service/Customer Service Manage will provide management relief cover across the Resthaven metropolitan and country community services teams, and assist the Home and Community Service Manager in maintaining Resthaven Business systems, and ensure compliance to organisational policies with respect to direct services and customer service.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to Community Services staff in day-to-day client/service-related matters
  • Liaise with Scheduling Partners and Scheduling Lead to ensure staff are scheduled to meet client needs
  • Ensure a quality administrative service for clients, staff and all stakeholders
  • Monitor and support the intake team to provide a timely response to referrals and enquiries from prospective clients
  • Ensure effective onboarding of new clients
  • Resolve client concerns and feedback with professionalism and empathy, ensuring open and transparent communication
  • Monitor service quality and client satisfaction across area of responsibility

Essential Criteria:

  • An understanding of issues and needs for older people, their careers and families and ability to effectively communicate with older people, and the ability to work with people from a range of social, financial, and cultural backgrounds
  • Sound literacy and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and evidence of business writing skills
  • Experience in supervising and supporting staff
  • Experience/training in the provision of community care, case management
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to new situations quickly
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Sound organising and time management skills
  • Completion of formal training in management practices and/or experience in a similar management role
  • A current drivers' licence
