To be eligible you must:
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Have a minimum of two years' experience within an Emergency Department environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Have strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Have proficient computer skills
- Demonstrate compliance with national healthcare standards
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Adult and paediatric resuscitation experience
- Emergency triage experience using the Australian Triage Scale
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
