About the role:
As a Primary Care Nurse within a correctional facility, you will provide frontline healthcare to inmates, delivering assessments, treatment, chronic disease management, medication administration, assist with emergency calls and health education in a secure environment. The role focuses on improving patient wellbeing, responding to acute and ongoing health needs, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, professional, and compassionate care.

Job Details
- Start in 2-4 weeks
- Monday - Friday AM & PM shifts , no weekends
- 6 week contract with possibility to extend
- Up to $62.27 p/hr am rate + 12% superannuation + shift penalties
- Curis Weekly bonus

- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- A minimum of 2 years' Registered Nurse experience, with a strong clinical background in either Primary Health Care, General Practice, and/or hospital-based nursing
- Corrections experience ideal but not essential
- Be able to assist in medical emergencies
- Practice Nurses working in General Practice are encouraged to apply
- Must have a valid NSW driver's license and own transport
- NSW Working With Children's Check or willingness to obtain
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
