Support Worker

We are currently seeking experienced Permanent Part-Time and Casual Support Workers to support clients in our SILs in Deception Bay.
About Your New Role
As a vital member of our Open Minds Team, you'll be assisting our clients with complex needs in Deception Bay. Our Support Workers drive our frontline services, delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help clients reach their full potential. Each day will be unique, whether you're assisting with daily tasks, supporting mental health challenges, or simply being a trusted companion.
About You
- Excels in complex support environments, including Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, incident reports and case notes.
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
- Can work across various shifts, including mornings and afternoons.

Requirements
- A current Open Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow card)
- QLD Blue Card (Working with Children clearance)
- 1 Year experience with disabilities and mental health support services
