This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to establish or further develop their career within primary health care. You will work alongside GPs, Allied Health Professionals and Aboriginal Health Workers delivering a broad range of services including chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, care planning, treatment room duties and preventative health programs.

To be eligible for this position you must:

• Be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Have experience in primary health care, general practice, community health or a similar clinical setting, or be a Graduate Registered Nurse with a strong interest in primary care
• Hold current First Aid and CPR certification
• Hold a current Queensland Driver's Licence
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to culturally safe and patient-centred care

Highly regarded:

• Nurse Immuniser qualification
• Experience in chronic disease management and care planning
• Phlebotomy experience
• Experience using Best Practice software
• Previous experience working within an Aboriginal Medical Service
