Working alongside Midwives, Aboriginal Health Workers, Wellbeing and Support Officers, GPs, Nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will support women and families throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period while promoting culturally safe maternity care and positive health outcomes.

To be eligible for this position you must:
- Be currently registered with AHPRA as a Midwife
- Have experience within hospital-based and/or community midwifery practice
- Possess strong knowledge of antenatal and postnatal care
- Demonstrate a commitment to culturally safe practice and improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Be able to work autonomously whilst contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Hold a current Open C Class Driver Licence
- Hold current CPR certification
- Be able to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
- Child Health Nurse qualification
- Nurse Immuniser qualification
- Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience delivering community-based maternity services
