NT - Diabetes Educator
Curis Recruitment is supporting an Aboriginal Medical Service in the Northern Territory to recruit a Diabetes Educator. This is your opportunity to work across remote communities, provide diabetes education and health promotion services that improve the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

- Permanent or Fixed Term contract (6-12 months) available
- Base Salary $110,000 + Superannuation and access to salary packaging

- Deliver individual and group diabetes education programs.
- Support clients living with or at risk of diabetes.
- Coordinate care with primary health, specialist, and allied health teams.
- Promote best-practice chronic disease management across communities.
- Contribute to improved health outcomes through culturally safe care and education.

To be eligible for this position you must:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- 2 years' experience working as a Diabetes Educator.
- Credentialled Diabetes Educator (ADEA) or working towards.
- Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and/or in a rural setting, would be an advantage.
- Comfortable working independently across multiple sites and communities.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
- NT Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
- National Police Check
- Australian working rights
