Disability Support Worker

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team in Bli Bli, assisting customers to be independent and to meet their full potential. There are opportunities for both permanent part-time and casual roles for the right applicants. This opportunity includes a range of different shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and sleepover shifts.
About Your New Role
As a member of our Disability Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring quality care and promoting independence within the supports provided. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategies that empower customers to overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
In this position, you will support individuals with a disability in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home, as well as deliver Community Access Support (CAS), assisting them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
About You
- An empathetic person who has a genuine passion for supporting individuals with a disability
- Experience with health support, mealtime assistance, medication administration and manual handling (desired but not necessary)
- Ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations
- Ability to complete basic administrative tasks

Requirements
- Availability to work across a variety of shifts including sleepovers
- A current Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
- Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
