We are currently looking for passionate individuals to join our teams across the Maroochydore and Bli Bli areas.
About Your New Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You’ll work closely with customers, families and stakeholders to implement strategies that help individuals overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
We have opportunities across two different service types:
In Maroochydore, you will be part of our Community Hub team, supporting customers out in the community to build independence and confidence. These are casual roles with a variety of shift times and durations.
In Bli Bli, you will support customers within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home as well as through Community Access Support. These roles offer both permanent part-time and casual opportunities, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.
About You
- An empathetic person who has a genuine passion for supporting individuals with a disability
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
- Flexible to work a range of shifts depending on the role
Experience with Disability Support Work, Positive Behaviour Support Plans, health support, manual handling or medication administration is highly desirable but not required.
Requirements
- A current Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
- Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Willingness to drive a van
- Ability to complete basic administrative tasks
