• Salary of up to $137,674.00 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Your Role
As a Child Health/Remote Area Nurse within this Aboriginal Health Service, you will:

• Deliver high quality, evidence based care to remote communities
• Health, education and prevention for the communities
• Community advocacy
• Engage with Yolnu culture and learn from local knowledge holders

Due to the remote nature of the communities, you are often relied upon for advanced clinical decision-making and the ability to manage a wide variety of presentations, making it an incredibly rewarding role if you are a nurse seeking meaningful work, clinical variety and the opportunity to genuinely impact community health outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• REC, MEC, ALS, NT ISTAT certificate or willingness to obtain
• Current Manual Driver's License
• At least (3) years of post-graduate experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently, and participate in afterhours emergency calls and first response)
• Willing to travel in small charter planes, and the ability to drive a 4WD
• Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
