Job Details
- Contract dates: 20 July – 27 August 2026
- Up to $85 per hour base rate (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday clinic hours
- Fully furnished accommodation provided
- Return travel provided
- Uniform provided

Your Main Duties
As the Child Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and supporting families within the community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring children's physical, emotional and developmental milestones
- Completing Child Health Checks and routine health assessments
- Identifying developmental delays and health concerns
- Administering childhood immunisations
- Providing education and support to parents and caregivers on child development, nutrition, safety and wellbeing
- Supporting children and families living with chronic health conditions through education and ongoing care
- Working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary primary healthcare team

To Be Eligible You Must Have
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Australian Postgraduate Certificate in Child Health Nursing
- Current Immunisation Certificate (completed within the past 3 years)
- Experience completing Child Health Checks
- At least 12 months' recent Child Health Nursing experience
- Current nursing competencies
- Two clinical references from a Clinic Manager or Line Manager within the past two years
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, valid Australian Working Visa or New Zealand Citizen)
