About the Role

Your position as an Exercise Physiologist is based on the model of person-centred care, and the commitment to supporting the aged and frail to maintain their well-being, dignity and independence with a focus on wellness and reablement. The Therapy Assistant is responsible to work as a member of the Allied Health Team to meet Care Recipient Therapy objectives as part of the Community and Home Support Program. You are responsible for the provision of professional Exercise physiology services for our clients as part of the CHSP.

The Exercise Physiologist ensures the delivery of skilled individualised and group care of the highest quality standard to assist Regis clients to optimise their level of physical and mental well-being and independence, thus maintaining their quality of life with a focus on enhancement and restorative therapies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work and to be flexible in dealing with constantly changing priorities and conflicting work pressures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, recognising when matters require referral to the Program Manager.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the relevant Laws, Acts, Regulations, Charters and Codes of Practice
  • Degree Qualified in Allied Health discipline and registration with the appropriate board (Exercise physiology)
  • A current drivers license with clear driving record
  • Satisfactory Pre Employment Medical Assessment results based on job role requirements
  • A current CPR/First Aid Qualification
