As a Primary Healthcare Nurse, you'll provide comprehensive, culturally safe primary healthcare to Aboriginal communities across East Arnhem Land. Working alongside Aboriginal Health Practitioners and a multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver evidence-based care with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention and improving long-term health outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include health assessments, chronic disease management, care planning, immunisations, wound care, acute presentations, medication management, health promotion, health education and community outreach. You'll build trusted relationships with clients while supporting individuals, families and communities to achieve better long-term health outcomes.
You'll be joining one of Australia's leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, committed to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal communities through culturally safe, high-quality primary healthcare. You'll be supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team and encouraged to continue developing your skills through ongoing professional development.

Essential Criteria
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' nursing experience, ideally within primary healthcare or remote health
- Demonstrated experience in assessment, care planning and chronic disease management
- Current manual driver's licence
- Current vaccinations and mandatory competencies
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Australian Working Visa or New Zealand Citizenship)
