  • Salary up to $142,000 per annum + 12% superannuation

Your Role

Working a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off FIFO roster, you will provide after-hours clinical care and health support outside standard clinic hours (9:00 pm – 8:00 am).

You will be responsible for:
  • Providing after-hours nursing assessments and clinical care
  • Delivering telephone triage, health advice, reassurance and follow-up support
  • Responding to emergency callouts in line with clinic protocols
  • Working autonomously while remaining connected with the broader Primary Health Care team
  • Maintaining emergency equipment and clinical readiness
  • Completing accurate clinical documentation and reporting
  • Supporting Continuous Quality Improvement activities and program evaluation
  • Assisting with recalls, audits, Point of Care Testing quality assurance and clinical administration

This Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation provides a range of integrated health and community programs, including Primary Health Care, Aged and Community Care, Family and Community Wellness, and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services.

Essential Criteria
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration.
  • 5 years’ post-graduate nursing experience in remote or primary healthcare setting.
  • Experience providing telephone health advice and after-hours emergency response.
  • Current BLS and ALS certificates.
  • Triage and REC (or equivalent) certificates.
  • MEC certificate (desirable).
  • Pharmacotherapeutics certificate.
  • Current Nurse Immuniser certificate.
  • Current manual driver’s licence.
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
  • Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship).
