As the Therapeutic Youth & Family Coordinator, you will provide intensive case management, therapeutic family support and early intervention services to young people who are at risk of entering, or already involved in, the youth justice system.

- Permanent full-time position – community-based.
- Salary package up to $110,000 plus superannuation.
- Fully subsidised accommodation provided.
- Annual travel allowance of $6,000.
- Salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum.

As the Therapeutic Youth & Family Coordinator, you will provide intensive case management, therapeutic family support and early intervention services to young people who are at risk of entering, or already involved in, the youth justice system.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing case management support to young people referred through police, courts and community services.
- Delivering therapeutic, family-centred interventions that strengthen relationships, build resilience, encourage positive behavioural change and improve long-term outcomes.
- Facilitating youth-focused programs that promote leadership, life skills, health, wellbeing and positive community participation.
- Applying restorative practices that support accountability, healing and stronger community connections.
- Working collaboratively with schools, police, community organisations and cultural leaders to develop culturally appropriate support pathways.
- Supporting early intervention initiatives that keep young people connected to family, culture, education and community.

Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, Counselling or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in case management with vulnerable young people and families.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
- Experience working with complex family systems.
- Experience working alongside Aboriginal communities in a culturally respectful manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote community setting.
- Current driver's licence.
- Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship).
