- Permanent full-time position
- Base salary of up to $141,804 per annum plus 12% superannuation
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 per annum
- Meals and Entertainment of up to $2,650 per annum

As the Men's Health Remote Area Nurse, you will lead the delivery of culturally appropriate, evidence-based men's health services across remote Aboriginal communities in East Arnhem Land. Working collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and a multidisciplinary team, you will promote preventative health, improve early intervention and support better long-term health outcomes for Aboriginal men.
You will provide comprehensive primary health care, including health assessments, chronic disease management, health promotion, education, routine immunisations and acute clinical care. You will play an important role in engaging men in their health, building trusted relationships within the community and supporting increased access to culturally safe health services.
You will utilise your advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skills to manage a wide range of presentations in accordance with the CARPA Manual. You will also contribute to emergency care and participate in the 24-hour on-call roster as required.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience with advanced clinical skills applicable to remote practice
- Remote Emergency Care (REC), Maternity Emergency Care (MEC), Advanced Life Support (ALS), NT i-STAT certification, or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to triage, work autonomously and respond confidently to emergency presentations
- Current manual driver's licence
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
