You'll provide culturally safe, trauma-informed counselling and support to individuals, families and groups, helping strengthen social and emotional wellbeing while building trusted relationships within the community.
You'll deliver counselling, psychosocial assessments, support planning and community outreach, while supporting clients experiencing trauma, grief, loss and mental health challenges. You'll also work with internal and external services to coordinate referrals and connect clients with the right support.

The community is well serviced for a regional location, with supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, schools, healthcare services, sporting facilities and other essential amenities. Regular flights to Darwin make it easy to stay connected with friends and family.
Essential Criteria
- Diploma or higher qualification in Counselling, Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology or a related field
- Understanding of the unique challenges and wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Experience delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed counselling and support services
- Knowledge of social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB), mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues
- Current driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
