About Your New Role
As part of our South Eat Queensland Supports Team, you will be assisting customers with complex needs in Thorneside. Our Disability Support Workers are the forefront of delivering exceptional care and implementing innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
By joining our team, you'll partner with experts who are passionate about offering specialised training opportunities, ensuring that you have the tools needed to enhance the support we provide.
About You
- Excels in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access
- Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Has extensive experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, clear understanding of restrictive practices and handling mental and physical health challenges
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
- Is flexible and can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights

Requirements
- A current Driver's Licence (P2 Minimum)
- Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- 1 years’ experience in the Disability Sector providing services to individuals with high-complex needs
