Working as a Social Worker within the Family & Community Wellness Team, you'll provide family support, case management and psychosocial support to children, parents, caregivers and families experiencing complex challenges.
You'll work with families affected by trauma, family violence, child protection concerns, mental health issues, social disadvantage and other complex family circumstances.
This is a hands-on community Social Work role. You'll spend time with families in the community, complete assessments, develop case plans, provide practical support and connect clients with the health, community and social services they need.
You'll work closely with Aboriginal Family Wellness Workers, community services and other professionals, building culturally safe support around children and families.

- A tertiary qualification in Social Work or Counselling
- Current membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Experience supporting children and families affected by trauma, adversity or child protection involvement
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice
- Experience working respectfully alongside Aboriginal people and communities
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a remote setting
- Current driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
