Curis Recruitment is recruiting Remote Area Nurses for permanent positions across East Arnhem Land. You can choose between FIFO or community-based work, depending on what suits you.
FIFO: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off, returning to the same community and team each swing before heading home for your break.
Community-based: relocate to the Northern Territory and live in the community as part of the local health team.

As a Remote Area Nurse, you’ll return to the same community each swing, work with a familiar team and get to know the patients, families and community you’re caring for. With a broad scope of practice and a high level of clinical autonomy, every day is different.

- N4 base salary $131,995–$141,804 + 12% super + on-call allowance

As a Remote Area Nurse, you’ll return to the same community each swing, work with a familiar team and get to know the patients, families and community you’re caring for. With a broad scope of practice and a high level of clinical autonomy, every day is different.
You’ll:
- Work within the Acute Care or Chronic Disease program, depending on your experience and interests
- Use your clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Support chronic disease management and preventative healthcare
- Respond to urgent and emergency presentations
- Work alongside Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Health Workers and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Participate in the first-on-call and after-hours roster
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience in remote, rural, primary healthcare or emergency nursing
- Current Immuniser Certificate, REC, MEC and ALS desirable
- Current unrestricted manual driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
