Support Worker

We are currently seeking experienced Casual Support Workers to support clients within Redcliffe. The role will include a mixture of In-Home and Community Access support.
About Your New Role
As a vital member of our Open Minds Team, you'll be assisting our clients with complex needs live independently and achieve their goals. Our Support Workers drive our frontline services, delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help clients reach their full potential. Each day will be unique, whether you're assisting with daily tasks, supporting mental health challenges, or simply being a trusted companion.
The successful applicant will need to be available for the following shift times:
- Wednesday from 9am to 2pm
- Thursday from 9am to 1pm
About You
- Excels in complex support environments.
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) Plans, incident reports and case notes.
- Has a strong awareness of trauma informed care

Requirements
- A current Open Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow card)
- QLD Blue Card (Working with Children clearance)
- 1 Year experience with disabilities and mental health support services (highly desirable)
