FIFO Primary Health Nurse or RAN Western Australia
Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly regarded Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in remote Western Australia to recruit an experienced Primary Health Nurse for a permanent FIFO position.
This role would suit a Primary Health Nurse with AMS experience, or a Remote Area Nurse (no REC & MEC needed)

Working within a small and experienced multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive Primary Health Care to people living within a remote Aboriginal community and surrounding region.
Your work will be varied, with no two days quite the same. You may be managing chronic disease in the morning, providing health education within the community and then responding to an acute or emergency presentation later in the day.
You will work alongside GPs, Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Aboriginal Health Workers and Social & Emotional Wellbeing and Aged Care teams.

Essential requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Primary Health, remote, rural or autonomous nursing experience
- Current Advanced Life Support certification or equivalent
- Current immunisation qualification
- National Police Clearance
- WA Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to meet the organisation's required vaccination and health clearance requirements
- Remote Area Nursing experience
- Aboriginal or Indigenous Primary Health experience
- Sexual Health experience
- Emergency Department experience
- Walk-in clinic, triage or treatment room experience
- Suturing and casting skills
- Communicare experience
