Uniting Paddington Children's Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our highly regarded team.

What you'll be doing

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality education and care that supports children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

Your work may include:

  • Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
  • Facilitating engaging, play-based learning experiences that respond to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Documenting children's learning through observations, assessments, and reflective practice.
  • Creating welcoming and inclusive learning environments that support children's sense of belonging and wellbeing.
  • Working collaboratively with a highly skilled team committed to continuous improvement and professional excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to child-safe practices and creating environments where children feel safe, respected, and supported.
  • A passion for ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.
