Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to help them find a Endorsed Registered Midwife (Community) to join their team on an agency contract.

Job details:

  • 6-12 week agency contract
  • $88.58 per hour base rate plus 12% superannuation
  • Northern Territory location
  • Fully furnished housing provided free for the duration of your contract

Location:
This is a unique opportunity to live and work in a stunning remote location along the Roper River in the Northern Territory. Surrounded by natural beauty, the region features wide open landscapes, rich wildlife and a peaceful, close-to-nature lifestyle away from the pace of city living.

This is a small community focused setting where you will become part of a strong, welcoming Aboriginal community with deep cultural roots and connection to Country

To be eligible for this position you must:
  • AHPRA registration with no restrictions
  • Be Endorsed
  • Be either a direct entry Midwife or Dual Registered Midwife
  • Minimum 2 years experience in providing antenatal, postnatal and newborn care within community or primary health care settings
  • Completed all mandatory competencies required
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities in rural and remote settings, ideal but not essential
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
